Invite your kid to a motivation game

You negotiate the rules with your kid (the weekly financial and what they need to do to earn it). Then – if they want – they play that game for 10 weeks.

Any week they keep their word and report by the deadline, they win the reward. If not, you keep your money. The actions they take become a habit over time and they won’t be driven by the need for reward.

Fill out the form, send it to your kid and see if they want to self-motivate. Then be amazed.

Side benefit: it’s an honour system. One of the conversations they’ll have in the community is about keeping their word.
